SKY is a project that is specifically designed to develop students’ English proficiency through storytelling.  It aims to make learning engaging and fun so that kids yearn to explore, create and learn.  SKY is committed to supporting storytelling as a powerful tool for learning English Language and acquiring communication and presentation skills.  The followings are strategies that SKY has been using to structure students’ learning experience.

SKY offers a collaborative learning environment for students to create and share their own stories, to read and listen stories of their peers. It is packed with online supportive tools such as writing tips and guidelines, story creation templates and characters design tools to encourage students to create stories of their own. Through the use of the online writing tools, teachers can systematically schedule and deliver various writing tasks to students, give corrections and provide feedback in the writing process, thus improve students’ level of writing. The project is expanding its reach to include a digital storytelling competition to encourage students to develop innovative and creative stories for oral presentation.
